Finnish industry will once again gather in Tampere in September, when the three-day Subcontracting Trade Fair (Alihankinta 2020) and AlihankintaHEAT gathers people around the world from 22 to 24 September 2020 at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. This year, the theme of the event is Business from Data. This theme emphasizes the importance of information for future industry. During the fair, the theme is viewed from the perspective of smart industry, security and productivity.
– Our objective is to help manufacturing companies harness large amounts of information to increase productivity and competitiveness, summarizes Tanja Järvensivu, the Project Manager of Subcontracting Trade Fair and Communications Manager of Tampere Trade Fairs.
The significance of utilizing the right kind of information is all the more important in this global context where uncertainty created by the corona virus can erode confidence in the future. Now if ever, positive belief of the future and the need to face each other face-to-face traditionally associated with Subcontracting Trade Fair is essential, Järvensivu points out.
– At Subcontracting Trade Fair, the spirit is known to be high. This autumn, the significance of the event is likely to become even more significant as we bring domestic and international industrial companies, experts and decision-makers together under the same roof again.
– Together with exhibitors and partners, we want to create a first-class trade fair that provides information, contacts and encounters that are relevant to the manufacturing industry. We wish our customers the best in this challenging time and warmly welcome you to the largest industrial consortium in Tampere, Finland in the autumn, Järvensivu adds.
