Alihankinta 2020: The best were awarded despite the exceptional year

The largest subcontracting industry trade fair in the Nordic countries, Subcontracting 2020 and AlihankintaHEAT, were launched today for the first time fully virtually online. Until Thursday 10.12. players in the manufacturing industry will be pampered with live program and pre-recorded video broadcasts directly from the studio of the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, as well as the opportunity to network with industry professionals and companies on the Brella networking platform. The virtual event is free of charge for visitors. The event website is open around the clock until 10.12. 11:59 pm and can be accessed at alihankintavirtual.fi.
– Although day-to-day life has been coloured by postponements and uncertainty about the future, one thing has created certainty about the future. That is the Subcontracting Fair that stays put even if others go sideways. We felt it was very important to maintain the Subcontracting Fair even during an exceptional year, albeit virtually. Main Supplier of the Year Novatron Oy (Pirkkala) and Subcontractor of the Year Mectalent Oy (Oulu)
The Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics LOGY ry awarded Novatron Oy as the Main Supplier of the Year 2020, and Mectalent Oy as the Subcontractor of the Year 2020. The awards were handed out live at the opening ceremony of the Subcontracting virtual event. The awards were received by the CEO of Novatron Oy Jukka Tervahauta, production manager Kalle Jussila and purchasing and logistics manager Kimmo Vaaramo and the CEO of Mectalent Oy Tapio Harila. The awards were presented by the chairman of LOGY’s awards committee Tomi Parmasuo and the CEO of LOGY Markku Henttinen. Stora Enso is Finland’s most startup-friendly company
Stora Enso was chosen as the most startup-friendly company in Finland. The Tribe Tampere startup community and the Subcontracting Fair awarded the recognition for the third time. Nordea’s Tuuli Koivu: Economic outlook in the shadows of Covid-19
Tuuli Koivu, the chief economist of Nordea, spoke about economic developments during the pandemic and in the future in the morning opening ceremony.
